The BBC has an interview with the wife of activist Gao Zhisheng, who has been missing for nine months and who has alleged being tortured while in police detention:
Geng He, wife of the famous Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, has not heard from her husband in the nine months since she fled to America to escape a life of persecution.
Until 2005 he ran a law firm which specialised in cases of police abuse and religious freedom.
But Gao Zhisheng was arrested several times and beaten before he disappeared in April 2010.
