From Big News Network: “The Chinese city of Chongqing has set up a body to monitor environmental protection for the controversial Three Gorges Project on the Yangtze River.
Chongqing, one of China’s four super-cities with provincial status, established the Three Gorges Reservoir Administration Tuesday, the local Xinhua branch reported.
The body will oversee water quality and conservancy as well as land use management and emergency planning.”
