For his latest contribution to the Hexie Farm CDT series, cartoonist Crazy Crab takes on the hottest political story of the day: the dismissal of former Chongqing Party Secretary Bo Xilai and the investigation of his wife, Gu Kailai, for the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood. Hotpot is a spicy Chongqing specialty, in which several ingredients are cooked in a huge pot in the center of the table. “Chongqing Hotpot” has also become a coded name for Bo Xilai among netizens.

** Tomato is a coded word for Bo Xilai
