Orville published an OP-ED piece on Project Syndicate about Taiwan on March 19. He has given analysis on dynamics behind China’s policy towards Taiwan and wrote: “Taiwan may have the right to pursue independence, but regional peace and democratization of China are far more important and worthy outcomes.”
