Official slogans on village walls – ChinaRen

Rural residents comprise more than 70% of China’s population. How does the Chinese government implement its policy to and exert control over this vast population? One traveling to the countryside can find slogans on village walls. These slogans are usually composed and painted by local government officals. Some of those slogans are more notable than others.
