China’s Communist Party has picked a new mayor for Beijing just nine months ahead of the Olympic Games, state media reported on Friday.
Guo Jinlong, 60, the party secretary of eastern Anhui province, has been named to take over from current mayor Wang Qishan, said the Beijing Daily.
