In his most recent drawing, CDT’s newest cartoon contributor Badiucao comments on the latest crackdown on online speech launched under Xi Jinping. The cartoon riffs on a classic image of Mao Zedong to show who currently has the upper hand in the so-called cat-and-mouse game between Chinese censors and netizens.
