Teenagers are invited to attend a “sex festival” in Guangzhou which is intended to “promote sex education and enhance people’s sex health,” and educate people about AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. “Knowledge of and access to products, such as condoms, can help minimise possible harm to teenagers who might have sex, as they might be exposed to the threats of venereal diseases and AIDS,” said the chairman of Guangdong’s sex study society.
