From Bloomberg.com: “China’s power shortage during periods of peak demand this year may be 17 percent less than in 2004 as new generation capacity starts operating, increasing electricity supply, the nation’s top economic planning body said.
China may have a power shortage of about 25,000 megawatts when demand peaks this summer compared with 30,000 megawatts in 2004, the National Development and Reform Commission said on its Web site today.”
