Beijing Media plans to spread tentacles

From South China Morning Post, via Asia Media: “Beijing Media Corp, which sells advertising space for the mainland’s No3 newspaper Beijing Youth Daily , is poised to become a national player through a variety of media.

The firm plans to expand into other media segments such as outdoor billboard advertising and television programme production, according to a report issued by HSBC, the joint sponsor with Citic Capital of the company’s initial public offering, scheduled for late this month. ”
