Gunmen raided a Chinese-run oil field near the Somali border on Tuesday, killing 65 Ethiopians and nine Chinese workers, an official of the Chinese company said. An ethnic Somali rebel group claimed responsibility for the attack. [Full Text]

An attack on a Chinese energy exploration facility in eastern Ethiopia has left nine Chinese dead and another seven kidnapped.
