Video: Super Imitation–One Has a Dozen Voices

A heated online discussion has been sparked by a netizen who calls himself First Genius (首席才子) and posted a video in which he imitates voices of 19 male pop stars from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is the second wave of such videos after last year a Beijing girl called Jia Hui posted a video in which she imitated voices of 14 female and male pop stars. It seems to be a post Super Girl (超级女声) phenomena that Chinese talents use the internet as a new stage to blog their own shows, expressing their personalities. Coincidentally, both First Genius and Jia Hui picked to sing songs from the hit Taiwanese singer Jay Zhou. Here is Jia Hui’s video via Sina and a link to First Genius’ video via Youku.
