Without exception, use Xinhua wire copy as the standard in coverage of the recent Zhou Yongkang case. The media must not interpret the case without authorization. Former security chief Zhou Yongkang was arrested and expelled from the Chinese Communist Party on December 5 in the highest level Party impeachment in China in over 30 years.
Since directives are sometimes communicated orally to journalists and editors, who then leak them online, the wording published here may not be exact.
