Visiting Turkmenistan President signed an agreement with Chinese President Hu Jintao in Beijing to expand cooperation between the two countries, especially in the energy sector. Concerned agencies from the two countries, the agreement says, will speed up the research and implementation of China-Turkmenistan natural gas pipeline project. Chinese companies are encouraged to participate in the exploration of gas fields in the Central Asian country.
