Charles Custer from ChinaGeeks has reposted some photos of the Sichuan rebuilding effort, via journalist Wang Keqin’s blog:
Wang Keqin’s blog has a very long accounting (based on this original story) of how the rebuilding is going in earthquake-affected areas like Mianyang. Unfortunately, it seems some of the new building materials are just as shoddy, or even worse, then the ones destroyed in the 5/12 earthquake.

Of course, this isn’t surprising to those who understand the conditions in mainland China.
The Communist Party leaders only concern is to get rich and stay in power. With a population of 1.3 billion cheap laborers, the Communist Party leaders relish in joy the trade off between increased profits while at the same time reducing the population.
Of course, you might want to think, they couldn’t be this bad, but when have you lived in the real China, not in the glamorous cities along the east coast, but in the rural China?
I left China, after many years, with my life. The Communist Party is total evil, they will do anything against humanity, and so it’s NOT surprising that China has the worse human rights record in the entire whole world!
Even when North Koreans cross the boarder only wanting to live a better life, the Communist Party officials first abuses them, women tend to be raped and sold into the sex trades, and then given back to Kim to torture to death as examples for the rest not to escape!
Maybe you don’t know such things about the way the Communist Party is like in China?
Why don’t you ask yourself, why so many American business outsource American jobs for cheap labor? Try Greed!
As China holds NO common values, only the same interest of wanting to get rich!
It’s the very same with Americans stockholders, they too want to get rich no matter the cost to the environment, human rights or the people’s welfare.
Where are the good people these days? It seems only those living in poverty n third world countries are sane, as those with billions or is that trillions now, own 45% of the world for themselves to do as they please…
And yes, those wealthy and rich as less than 1% of the world’s total population… is it any wonder why GREED always knows no boundaries?
America has an inside traitor, his name is Obama… he acts just like the Communist Party, full of deception, lies and disdain for transparency!
Just ask yourself why does Obama align himself with all the bad people, like Terrorist, Chicago Gangsters and Communist?
Because he is one of them, of course!
No real leader of the FREE world would submit to a Muslim king, as an act of submission or is that surrender?
With the US becoming more dysfunctional, the enemies of liberty and freedom embolden!
That’s why China is cracking down on the far west, just as like Hong Kong, Tibet and Taiwan.
The Communist Party must make it appear that their in control, for the rest of the world to see them as all powerful.
The truth is, the Communist Party is going from one crisis to another crisis, which only indicates China isn’t stable at all under their regime.
Why does China need the Communist Party?
i am 100% sure China will be fine and better to be without the Communist Party, just as much as the Americans are rid of the Obama (Osama) and Biden (Bin Laden) administration.
It’s not the technology that makes America, it’s the values that foreigners wanted to support, as allies!
Now, America (the USA) has the worse foreign policy in it’s history.
Everyone sees the US withering away! They see Obama as weak, not experienced and a deceiver, not to be trusted.
The dollar is slipping, the unemployment rising in the US, even after the trillion dollar bailouts…
Everything Obama touch is filled with corruption and greed. But the Communist Party hates Obama, as an individual, as a US president because they see him as more dangerous to regional stability.
So that’s why China is rushing development, knowing to build up before war breaks out. It’s said in China, from Sun Wu, that it’s better to attack then to defend. For now, it’s proxy wars, like using North Korea to distract the Americans from the real issue behind these talks.
It’s to buy time is all.. and as everyone sees, those North Korean talks continue to stall, delay and outlast many Americans presidents…
A country so isolated and remote can take on all the might of the US? What would Rome be like for sure a situation?
