- Project Administrator, China Digital Times
The Project Administrator is under the supervision of the Project Director of China Digital Times and Counter-Power Lab, a University of California Berkeley research project. This is a full-time position which will be fulfilled both onsite and remotely with flexible hours and regular meetings with the Project Director. The successful candidate will be able to work independently but also to cooperate as part of a small, but close-knit team. The job is based in Berkeley, CA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting Project Director with project oversight including financial tracking and budgeting, report preparation, and all administrative tasks (email and telephone communication, coordinating travel logistics, etc). Assisting with special projects as needed.
Requirements include: At least 2-3 years experience in a related position, excellent writing and communication skills, proven organizational skills with attention to detail, advanced experience with MS Word and Excel.
Preferred: An interest in China, information and communication technologies, and/or freedom of expression and human rights; Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
