Chinese gov’t backs Web search for global business

From China Daily: “The New Jersey-based Accoona Corporation, an industry pioneer in artificial intelligence search technology, announced on Monday the launch of Accoona.com in New York City to provide the largest proprietary online database of information on companies worldwide.

On the same occasion, Accoona.cn debuted in China in coordination with its Chinese partner, Chinadaily.com.cn. It will facilitate foreign companies doing business in China and Chinese companies expanding into the global marketplace.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was present at the opening ceremony, bestowing his best wishes to the search engine. ”
