For his latest contribution to his CDT series, cartoonist Crazy Crab of Hexie Farm alludes to the recent news about a Chinese navy vessel running aground in disputed waters in the South China Sea to comment on the future of political reform in China. In the cartoon, according to the cartoonist’s description, a modern vessel is still propelled by oars instead of the small turbine, to represent the abandoning of political reform.
