From AFP today: “China plans to launch a space solar telescope in 2008 which will be the largest and most advanced of its kind, state news reported.
The telescope, which will orbit the earth for three years, will be used to study the solar magnetic field and the surface of the sun, Xinhua news agency reported. ”
